Day 1: MILAN
Arrival in Milan. Accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: MILAN – BOLOGNA - FLORENCE
Breakfast in hotel. Half day visit of Milan, to see the Cathedral, the Sforzesco Castle and the Scala Opera House. In the afternoon, departure for Florence, calling briefly in at Bologna. Accommodation at the hotel in Florence, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day guided tour of Florence, visiting the Cathedral, the Palazzo Vecchio and the Accademia Art Gallery. The afternoon is dedicated to the Uffizi Art Gallery, containing one of the world’s most famous art collections. Dinner and overnight. 

Day 4: FLORENCE – SIENA – ROME
After breakfast, departure for Rome, calling in at Siena, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit Piazza del Campo and the Cathedral. Accommodation at the hotel in Rome, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: ROME
Breakfast in hotel. Entire day dedicated to visit Rome. In the morning guided tour of the Vatican Museums and St Peter’s Basilica. In the afternoon visit ancient Rome: Colosseum, Roman Forum, Arch of Constantine, Palatine.
Dinner at restaurant in the city centre. Eavening boat trip on the River Tiber. Overnight.

Day 6: ROME
Breakfast in hotel and visit Baroque Rome. In the afternoon guided tour of the Catacombs. Dinner at restaurant in the city centre. Overnight.

Day 7: ROME – POMPEI – NAPLES – SORRENTO
After brteakfast leave Rome for the Pompei excavations. In the afternoon visit Naples and its wonderful old town centre: the Cathedral, the Royal Palace, Piazza del Plebiscito and the San Carlo Opera House. Then leave for Sorrento, accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 8: SORRENTO – CAPRI – SORRENTO
After breakfast departure for an excursion to Capri, one of Italy’s most beautiful islands. Guided visit with transfer by minibus to Anacapri. Return to Sorrento by ferry. Dinner and overnight stay in Sorrento.

Day 9: SORRENTO – TIVOLI – ASSISI
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for Assisi, calling in at Tivoli, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit Villa d’Este. In the eavening arrival at hotel near Assisi, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: ASSISI – GUBBIO – RIMINI
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Assisi, with the Basilica di San Francesco and the old town. Then leave for Rimini, calling in at Gubbio, a beautiful and perfectly preserved medieval town. Accommodation at hotel in Rimini, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 11: RIMINI – SAN MARINO – RAVENNA – VENICE
Breakfast in hotel. Visit San Marino, one of the world’s smallest and oldest Republics. In the afternoon visit the city of Ravenna, famous for its mosaics and ancient churches, including the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe. Accommodation in hotel in the Venice area, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 12: VENICE
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer by bus to Tronchetto and by private boat to the centre of Venice, for a full-day visit of the city. In the morning you’ll see St Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace and Bridge of Sighs. In the afternoon you’ll visit the islands in the lagoon: Burano, Murano and Torcello. Return by private boat to Tronchetto, then by bus to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 13: VENICE – PADUA – VERONA – MILAN
After breakfast departure for Padua and visit the Basilica of St. Anthony and the Scrovegni Chapel. Then stop in Verona, to see the town of Romeo and Juliet. In the afternoon arrival in Milan, accommodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: DEPARTURE
